Big chance for Farragut
An important opportunity for the Farragut tax base has come with the chance to bring Gander Mountain to the Farragut side of Turkey Creek. It won't be an easy sale as there are some sign issues. Hopefully the Town of Farragut can work out a solution to bring a top flight sports and outdoor retailer to Farragut.
Gander Mountain, a Minnesota-based outdoor chain, is the nations second largest sports and outdoor retailer.
Let's find a way to make this happen.

It already is happening. Turkey Creek Land partners are running out of places to build. It has to over flow into Farragut. And it will. I bet Mayor Ford steps up and takes credit fot the expanded retail and increased sales revenues for Farragut coffers.

Gander Moutain is an excellent store and would help put Farragut on the retail map. they're a destination store much like the pro bass shop in Seveirville. High end store that will employ a lot of teenagers. I am an avid hunter and fisherman and would love to see this happen.
