Take care on Turkey Creek Road

Be careful on Turkey Creek Road as you approach Virtue Road. The new Sheffield subdivision is beginning road construction in the subdivision. Heavy equipment will be entering the new development and their is a blind entrance as you travel West along Turkey Creek just before the new subdivision entrance.

If you encounter any safety issues with this subdivision entrance contact the Town of Farragut at 966-7057.

I didn't know that was going to be a subdivision. Does anyone know how many houses and what type?

The Sheffield subdivision will have 194 lots. It is not definite yet but I was told the homes will be all brick and like those in Sugarwood or Brixworth.

That place is an accident waiting to happen. They aren't going to leave it like that are they?

That is a horrible place for an entrance. I cannot believe that was approved by Farragut. How will they get out in the morning? Is that the only entrance?

For almost a year dozens of people went to MPC and asked for a second entrance on Virtue Road but we were turned down.

I knew nothing about this. What a stupid place for an entrance. Why didn't the town have the entrance across from Vista on Virtue Road? Do you know how many people ride bicycles on that road?

After all the talk about the Weigle's on smith Road how is it that this was never covered in the paper? This is even more dangerous.

I hope the town at least will require that all the construction equipment stay off Virtue Road and use Turkey Creek Road only. That bridge is too samll for that big equipment.
