Does the roundabout make any sense?

Good article in the Farragut Press about the roundabout planned for next spring at the intersection of Northshore Drive and Concord Road. There has been extensive coverage of this over at "Can Farragut Change?" so I will not rehash the discussion here. I will be contacting Knox County engineer Bruce Wuethrich and I will let you know what he has to say about this roundabout.

Based on what I know I am confused why a traffic light is not an option. Those of us that have fought for a year and a half for a traffic light at Kingston Pike and Virtue Road have learned that step one is State TDOT approval. However, someone must file the application with TDOT. More on this soon.
